Music To My Ears: Femme Fatales

So I would like to think that I am pretty decent music connoisseur, being that I was a manager of a music store for a few years. I love to listen to everything, whatever I'm in the mood for I guess. These days I'm loving a few artist, some old some new, I like to keep it interesting.

First off is Yelle, a French electropop singer who I have been loving for quite a while now.

Then there is my favorite girl of the moment, Lady Gaga who I think will be around for quite some time. There is not a question of reinvention with her it's how ready you are for the thrill ride.

I've recently stumbled upon a very welcomed surprise with a very unexpected connection. Her name is Oksana Grigorieva and she happens to be Mel Gibson's new baby's mama. Her newest song is called "Say My Name" and was actually penned by Mel himself, impressively excecuted by Oksana. I hope everyone is able to look past the tabloids and see a true artist.

So as a new model, I've always dreamed of the day where I could pick up a copy of a major publication and see myself in it. Well, thanks to the phenomenal David Vance, I now finally am able to do that with the release of his book Heavenly Bodies. David literally turns mere mortals into gods as you look through his captivating work. I am privileged enough to have several photos in his book and am very grateful as an up-and-coming model to be able to establish myself in a work of art.

I am absolutely in LOVE with Gucci 2009/2010 Fall/Winter Collection. The suits are impeccable and the design aesthetic as a whole is genius. Talk about the dream modeling job, my schedule is always open for you Gucci! All of you who really know me, know about my obsession with gifts in those beautiful gold boxes (*hint hint*)

On a Serious Note

I am absolutely in love with Angelina Jolie. I think she is definitely one the most amazing actresses of our time and the fact that she is so selfless in her personal life is amazing to me. For this year’s World Refugee Day on June 20th, Angelina recorded a public service announcement to draw attention to the plight of the millions of people who have been forced to flee their homes because of war or persecution.

You Can Never Be Too Skinny or Too Rich

Wow! My first post! This blog has been a long time coming and I'm happy to finally have the time to get this ish started.

I just want to keep all those who care informed about everything that matters to me on a regular basis. Whether it be one of my (many) adventures or what new (insert anything culturally relevant) I'm obsessed with. I can assure you, you will never be bored.
